The Backyard

The backyard is a great space for family entertainment, whether it is for a BBQ or for relaxation on the day bed.

We have built a petonque pitch as close to regulation size and material as we could. You will find the balls, with playing instructions, located in the garden shed.

The silver fern stainless steel artwork was made by Lisa Sarah Garden art (http://lisasarah.com) and you can see more of her work located outside each of the three bedrooms.

For cooler evenings, or just for fun, feel free to start up the fire pit and roast some marshmallows.

Our fruit tree collection out the back includes a feijoa tree, a lemon tree (perfect for gins and tonic!), olive tree and a small chilli and herb gardens in the troughs by the porch.
